Alex Fioritto of Baldwin Wallace University Garners All-Ohio Athletic Conference Honor

Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse standout Alex Fioritto of Akron has been selected to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Fioritto, who garners his first career OAC accolade, was a second-team selection. He led the team with 157 face off victories and grounds balls with 112. He scored four goals and added a career-high four assists for a career-best tying eight points. For his career, Fioritto has appeared in 27 games and has recorded 271 face off wins and 182 grounds balls. He has recorded eight goals and added four assists for 16 points. Fioritto has 42 career shots and has caused eight turnovers.

BW ended its third season of completion a school-record 12 wins, including a school-record 11 straight wins to start the season. The Yellow Jackets also advanced to the OAC Tournament semifinals for the second straight season.
