Alex Kurtz of Baldwin Wallace University Garners All-Ohio Athletic Conference Football Accolade

Alex Kurtz (Berea/Smithville) is one of five Baldwin Wallace University football players to be named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference football team.

Kurtz a team captain, garners his first All-OAC honor as he was named to the first-team. He was a starter on the offensive line since midway through his freshman season and started 34 consecutive games at guard and tackle. This season, Kurtz helped the offense to score 28.5 points-per-game and gain 351.6 yards per game of total offense. During his career, Kurtz helped BW average more than 30 points and 390 yards of offense per game. In addition to excelling on the field, he maintained a 3.47 grade average in finance and exercise science.

The Yellow Jackets finished 3-7 overall in 2016.
