Amanda Frazier Helped Stage "A Chorus Line" at Baldwin Wallace University

2015 Jan 21

Amanda Frazier of Lorain was among the talented cast and crew from Baldwin Wallace University that performed the iconic musical "A Chorus Line" this fall. Directed by Victoria Bussert and choreographed by Gregory Daniels, the Music Theatre program along with the Department of Theatre and Dance created a musical theatre sensation that left packed audiences in awe.

"A Chorus Line" tells the story of Cassie, a struggling dancer living in New York City who is desperately trying to find work. Tony-winner Donna McKechnie, who starred as Cassie on Broadway, was brought in to share some of the choreography and overall magic of the original show with the student cast. This rare and unique experience was a humbling privilege for those involved with the production.

Upcoming Baldwin Wallace University productions include the Department of Theatre and Dance's staging of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," directed by Jack Winget, February 4-15 and the Music Theatre program's staging of "Dogfight," directed by Victoria Bussert in collaboration with Beck Center for the Arts, February 6-March 15.
