Amanda Peterson graduates cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University

2017 Feb 16

Amanda Peterson of Stow, a graduate of Cardinal High School, has graduated cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Education: Early Childhood Education.

Baldwin Wallace University recognized the achievements of nearly 300 graduates at the 2016 BW Fall Commencement exercises in December. Before taking a triumphant walk across the stage to receive congratulations, members of the BW Class of 2016 were inspired by the words of Northeast Ohio business and civic leader, Eddie Taylor Jr., who serves as president of Taylor Oswald, a minority-owned enterprise and partner of Oswald Companies.

A native Clevelander with a passion for helping budding businesses succeed, Taylor told the graduates that "there is a mutual and natural interdependence in success." Beyond partnership, he also urged the graduates to make time for service to others, noting that "life is a team sport."
