Andrew Ross Helps Stage ROMEO AND JULIET at Baldwin Wallace University

2014 Nov 7

Andrew Ross of Amherst was among the talented cast and crew from Baldwin Wallace University that performed Shakespeare's masterpiece, ROMEO AND JULIET, to enthusiastic audiences this October. Directed by Adam Heffernan, the impressive performance brought the Bard's iconic work to life.

With the backdrop of an art restoration in progress, audiences were pulled into the classic story of Romeo and Juliet, star-crossed lovers from dueling families, who faced sword fights and fierce judgment as the consequence of their youthful romance. Ross played the parts of Friar Lawrence, Citizen, Guest, Masker and Servant in the production.

Upcoming productions in the 2014-15 performance season for Baldwin Wallace University's Department of Theatre and Dance will include a BW Music Theatre co-production of A CHORUS LINE, directed by Vicky Bussert, in mid-November, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, directed by Jack Winget, in February and HENRY IV PART 2, directed by Adam Heffernan, in May.
