Austin McGlothern of Mount Rainier High School to Continue Men's Soccer Career at Baldwin Wallace University

Austin McGlothern (Des Moines/Mount Rainier High School) is one of 12 first-year student-athletes to continue men's soccer career at Baldwin Wallace University this fall.

Head Coach Reid Ayers, who enters his 15th year in Berea and his first as just the men's coach, returns 16 letterwinners, eight starters from last year's squad that posted an overall record of 6-13 and a mark of 3-6 in conference play. He welcomes back three seniors, eight juniors, 16 sophomores, one All-OAC player and the OAC Freshman of the Year.

BW opens the season on Friday, September 2, when they travel to Erie, Pennsylvania, to participate in the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament hosted by Penn St.-Behrend. BW will play Geneseo (N.Y.) at 2:30 p.m. in the season-opening tournament. OAC play opens on Saturday, September 30, when the Yellow Jackets host Marietta College.
