Biagio Niro voted Homecoming King at Baldwin Wallace University

Biagio Niro of Seven Hills was voted Homecoming King during Homecoming Weekend at Baldwin Wallace University. The weekend kicked off with a pep rally including performances by the BW Cheerleaders, BW Dance Team, Urban Dance Association and the Marching Yellow Jackets. Festivities also included a parade, tailgate picnic, dance, alumni reunions and a Yellow Jacket football 38-0 victory over the Marietta College Pioneers.

A highlight of the weekend was the crowning of the Homecoming Court, with two senior students chosen as King and Queen and two freshman students as Jacket Prince and Jacket Princess. Niro, a graduate of Padua Franciscan High School majoring in neuroscience biology and biology, was unable to attend due to an academic research trip. His girlfriend, Kristina DeGirolamo, represented him and accepted the crown on his behalf along with Homecoming Queen Madeline Southall of Saint Albans, West Virginia.
