Brian Haviland of Baldwin Wallace University Earns Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Honors

Brian Haviland (Grasonville/Kent Island High School) is one of 10 Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer student-athletes to be named to the 2017 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

In order to be selected to the Academic All-OAC team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Haviland, who earns his second-straight Academic All-OAC honor, is a physics major who carries a 3.62 GPA. He is a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar, the philanthropy chairman for Phi Kappa Tau, a Center for Innovation and Growth Fellow and the recruitment chairman for the Dance Marathon. For his career, Haviland has appeared in four games and recorded 14 saves.
