Brianna Kingston inducted into Athletic Training Education Honor Society at Baldwin Wallace University

Brianna Kingston of Ashtabula was inducted into the Baldwin Wallace University chapter of Iota Tau Alpha (ITA) Athletic Training Education Honor Society in the spring 2016 semester. Kingston, a graduate of Lakeside High School majoring in athletic training and exercise science, shared the honor with six other students. Society membership is extended to students who are enrolled in athletic training education at an institution with an ITA chapter, have completed at least three semesters of academic work toward the athletic training degree, have completed at least three term courses in athletic training education including one above introductory level with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5, rank no lower than the highest 35 percent of their class in cumulative GPA, and are in good standing according to their program retention criteria.

Founded in 2005, ITA promotes and encourages scholarly activity in athletic training and recognizes outstanding achievement among students enrolled in athletic training education programs. Chapter activities are designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment and investigation in athletic training education, and to promote the dissemination of information among students of athletic training education.
