Cole Nieto earns recognition at Baldwin Wallace University's Ovation Festival 2017

Cole Nieto of Brunswick was among over 50 students recognized at the Honors Awards Ceremony during Baldwin Wallace University's Ovation Festival 2017, BW's annual celebration of student achievement.

Nieto, a graduate of Saint Ignatius High School majoring in finance and management, received the Kenneth F. Steingass Outstanding Senior Male Athlete Award. The award is given to an outstanding senior male athlete.

Now in its 10th year, Ovation has expanded from a single day to a 10-day festival in order to more fully recognize student success in research and scholarship, the arts, experiential learning and leadership, and athletics. The signature event is the Day of Excellence, which features exceptional student work from every school of the University through posters, displays, live presentations and performances. The day concludes with the campus-wide Honors Awards Ceremony that recognizes student achievement with scholarships and awards.
