Cole Nieto of Baldwin Wallace University Garners D3Baseball.com All-Mideast Region Accolade

Baldwin Wallace University baseball standout Cole Nieto of Brunswick has been selected to the D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region team.

Nieto, who garners his first career honor, led the team in batting average at .383, at-bats with 180, hits with 69, doubles with 16 and total bases with 108.  He was second in homeruns with five, tied for second in triples with four and was third in RBIs with 41.   In his first season as a starter, Nieto also garnered second-team All-OAC accolades and was the OAC Hitter of the Week on May 4. For his career, Nieto has a career batting average of .391 he is batting .395 with 197 at-bats, 77 hits, 18 doubles, four triples, five homeruns, 47 runs scored, 48 RBIs, 15 walks and six stolen bases.

BW (31-12) finished the season with a school record for wins in a season for the fourth straight season.
