Cole Nieto of Baldwin Wallace University earns All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.

Baldwin Wallace University baseball student-athlete Cole Nieto (Brunswick/Saint Ignatius High School) has earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.
Nieto, who earns his third All-OAC honor, as he was named to the second-team as a sophomore and an honorable mention in 2016. This season, he had a batting average of .345, on-base percentage .411 and team-best slugging percentage of .593. Nieto tallied a team-high 13 doubles and seven home runs with 32 RBIs and a career-high 10 stolen bases. He put himself in the BW record books this year as he hit the school's first cycle since 2005 in a victory against the University Pittsburg Greensburg. Nieto also was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) All-District 7 team and is eligible for the All-America ballot. He finished his career with a batting average of .341, on-base percentage of .399 and a slugging percentage of .552. Nieto has tallied 109 RBIs, 43 doubles and 17 homeruns.
BW finished the year with an overall record of 22-17 and an OAC record of 10-8.
