2016 May 24

Courteney Levet of Cleveland is among 28 exceptional writers and artists whose work was selected for publication in the 2016 edition of Baldwin Wallace University's annual literary and art journal, "The Mill." Levet, a graduate of Ohio Virtual Academy, published a work entitled "Mr. Potato Head's Eyes." Levet also served on the selection committee for the publication.

Each year, "The Mill" showcases the creative achievements of student writers and artists, across campus and across disciplines. The student-directed and student-operated publication reflects the distinct voices and expressions of BW's talented students and the hard work and dedication of its student staff. "The Mill" accepts submissions of poetry, short stories, novel and drama excerpts, creative non-fiction, artwork and photography. All works featured in "The Mill" are reviewed and selected by the journal's editors and selection committee based on the principles of clarity, originality and artistic merit. BW also hosts "The Mill Reading Series" featuring readings each year by poets and fiction writers of both local and national reputations.
