Courteney Levet recognized at Baldwin Wallace University's 2015 Ovation Awards Ceremony

2015 May 15

Courteney Levet of Cleveland was recognized at the Honors Award Ceremony during Baldwin Wallace University's "Ovation 2015: Unleashed Potential," BW's premier capstone celebration of student achievement. Levet, a graduate of Ohio Virtual Academy majoring in English with a focus on creative writing, received the Dr. Harold D. and Dr. Anna M. Cole Humanities Scholarship which is given to a student majoring in Art History with the highest cumulative grade point average. In presenting the award, BW recognized Levet’s dedication both in and out of the classroom. She has developed skills ranging from translating Old English poems, to creating artwork, to editing a novel, to contributing to the leadership of her sorority and the English honorary, Sigma Tau Delta. Her enthusiasm for learning and the smile with which she enters a room brightens the day wherever she is.

Held every spring, Ovation is a high-energy, festive event that spotlights the outstanding creativity, research, and academic and artistic accomplishments of BW students. Ovation brings together the whole BW community to celebrate the excellent work of BW's students and faculty. Representing all schools of the University, over 100 students presented their work in the form of displays, live presentations, performances and more.
