Daniel Jesensky inducted into mathematics honor society at Baldwin Wallace University

Daniel Jesensky of North Royalton was inducted into the Baldwin Wallace University chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon (KME), National Mathematics Honor Society, in the spring 2018 semester. Jesensky, a graduate of North Royalton High School majoring in software engineering, computer network security and computer information systems, shared the honor with 15 other students. Society membership is extended to students with three semesters of college completed, three courses in mathematics including at least one in calculus, a minimum 3.0 GPA in mathematics and a ranking in the upper 35 percent of their class.

Founded in 1931, KME is a specialized honor society in mathematics. KME seeks to promote the interest of mathematics among undergraduate students. Chapters are located in colleges and universities of recognized standing which offer a strong mathematics major. Members are selected from students of mathematics and other closely related fields who have maintained standards of scholarship, have professional merit and have attained academic distinction.
