Dominic Polifrone of Baldwin Wallace University Earns Men's Tennis All-Ohio Athletic Conference Honor

Dominic Polifrone (Stow/Hudson High School) is one of three Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis players to be named to the 2018 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team.

Polifrone earned his third consecutive conference selection and his first Player of the Year honor after leading the Jackets with a 21-5 singles record (17 wins at No. 1) and compiling a 20-6 mark in doubles action. Throughout his career, he has recorded 63 wins in singles and doubles, which is 17th and tied for 16th all-time, respectively. He has received the BW Academic Excellence Award two years in a row for the highest GPA on the team, has been named an Academic All-OAC selection and is a two-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete. Additionally, the junior has earned two OAC Men's Player of the Week accolades throughout his three years. BW posted a 15-5 overall record during the 2017-2018 season. The team posted a 5-3 conference record and advanced to the OAC semifinals.
