Emma Dombrowski earns recognition at Baldwin Wallace University's Ovation Festival 2017

2017 May 15

Emma Dombrowski of Reynoldsburg was among over 50 students recognized at the Honors Awards Ceremony during Baldwin Wallace University's Ovation Festival 2017, BW's annual celebration of student achievement.

Dombrowski, a graduate of Pickerington High School majoring in psychology, received The Professor David Prok Humanitarian Award for Social Justice in Sex and Gender Diversity. The award is given to a member of the faculty, staff or student body who makes Baldwin Wallace University more hospitable, safe and accepting of minority members of its own community.

Now in its 10th year, Ovation has expanded from a single day to a 10-day festival in order to more fully recognize student success in research and scholarship, the arts, experiential learning and leadership, and athletics. The signature event is the Day of Excellence, which features exceptional student work from every school of the University through posters, displays, live presentations and performances. The day concludes with the campus-wide Honors Awards Ceremony that recognizes student achievement with scholarships and awards.
