Faith Nordine inducted into English Honor Society at Baldwin Wallace University

Faith Nordine of Dover was inducted into the Baldwin Wallace University chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society, in the Fall 2014 semester. Nordine is a graduate of Dover High School majoring in English. To qualify for membership, students are required to complete at least two collegiate courses in English language or literature, beyond the usual requirements in freshman English; have a minimum of a B, or equivalent average, in English and in general scholarship; rank in the top thirty-five percent of their class; and complete at least three semesters of college course work.

Sigma Tau Delta was founded in 1924 to confer distinction for high achievement in English language, literature, and writing in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies. The Society is dedicated to fostering literacy and all aspects of the discipline of English with over 870 local chapters in the U.S. and abroad. Student membership benefits include scholarships and internships; an annual convention; writing awards and publishing opportunities; and lifetime academic recognition.
