Gwyn Dubel earns recognition at Baldwin Wallace University's Ovation Festival 2017

2017 May 15

Gwyn Dubel of Greenville was among over 50 students recognized at the Honors Awards Ceremony during Baldwin Wallace University's Ovation Festival 2017, BW's annual celebration of student achievement.

Dubel, a graduate of Reynolds High School majoring in human resources, management and marketing, received the Dr. Jacob O. Kamm Award. The award is given to the student having the highest scholastic standing in courses taken in business administration or economics. The award was created to encourage quality academic achievement by students majoring in business and/or economics.

Dubel is an enthusiastic student pursuing both MBA and undergraduate degrees in the 3-2 HR Program MBA in Human Resources and Marketing. Dubel also serves as the president of the BW chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Now in its 10th year, Ovation has expanded from a single day to a 10-day festival in order to more fully recognize student success in research and scholarship, the arts, experiential learning and leadership, and athletics. The signature event is the Day of Excellence, which features exceptional student work from every school of the University through posters, displays, live presentations and performances. The day concludes with the campus-wide Honors Awards Ceremony that recognizes student achievement with scholarships and awards.
