Kasey McGee honored at Baldwin Wallace University's Student Life and Leadership Awards

2015 May 21

Kasey McGee of Medina was honored at the Student Life and Leadership Awards Ceremony at Baldwin Wallace University during the spring 2015 semester. McGee, a graduate of Buckeye Senior High School majoring in English, received the Student Service Recognition Award. The award is given in recognition of the impact made to the campus community through outstanding leadership and involvement. McGee is also a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.

The annual ceremony celebrates student leaders, faculty and staff advisors, organizations, and programs that have made an impact on the BW community and beyond. BW students can choose from over 100 student clubs, professional organizations, and honor societies, ranging from community service and political action groups to fraternities and sororities. The University encourages students to participate in a variety of groups to foster leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem solving. Students are also encouraged to engage in service opportunities at the local, national and international levels through one-time and weekly service projects, alternative break trips, and international service experiences. All service programs are designed and led by student leaders as well.
