Klementyna Pozniak inducted into elite Baldwin Wallace University Honors Program

Klementyna Pozniak of Amherst was inducted into the Baldwin Wallace University Honors Program at a pinning ceremony during the spring 2017 semester. Pozniak, a graduate of Marion L. Steele High School majoring in communication studies and philosophy, shared the distinction with 16 other rising sophomore students who were recommended for the program by a BW faculty member. BW President Robert Helmer and honors program director Dr. Amy Lebo congratulated the students on their entry into in the program, which strives for a distinctive and inspiring learning environment both inside and outside the classroom.

The BW Honors Program helps motivated and talented students make the most of their college experience by joining a community of scholars dedicated to academic excellence, leadership development and community engagement. Interdisciplinary and experiential, the program offers unique courses and an enhanced core curriculum. The goal of the program is to engage the whole student, connect theoretical ideas to real-world applications and foster independent thinking. Encouraging academic exploration, the honors program can augment any program of study and expand the opportunities available to students.
