Lyndsey Marshall graduates magna cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University

Lyndsey Marshall of Warren, a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, graduated magna cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science: Mathematics.

Baldwin Wallace University recognized the achievements of 665 graduates at BW's 167th Commencement ceremony in May. Before taking a triumphant walk across the stage to receive congratulations, members of the BW Class of 2017 were inspired by the words of Dee Bagwell Haslam, a successful businesswoman, television producer and philanthropist.

Haslam, co-owner of the Cleveland Browns (with her husband Jimmy) and CEO of RIVR Media, told graduates they would "reap unimaginable rewards" by creating opportunities for service. "As you embark on your new path, I encourage you to think about how you can give back." She also encouraged grads to find causes that resonate personally. "If you're passionate about something, you will make an impact in a meaningful way," she said.
