Lyndsey Marshall honored at Baldwin Wallace University's Student Life and Leadership Awards

2016 May 25

Lyndsey Marshall of Warren was honored at the Student Life and Leadership Awards Ceremony at Baldwin Wallace University during the spring 2016 semester. Marshall, a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School majoring in mathematics, received the BW Volunteer of the Year Award. The award recognizes outstanding service to the community beyond BW.

The annual ceremony celebrates student leaders, faculty and staff advisors, organizations, and programs that have made an impact on the BW community and beyond. BW students can choose from over 100 student clubs, professional organizations, and honor societies, ranging from community service and political action groups to fraternities and sororities. The University encourages students to participate in a variety of groups to foster leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem solving. Students are also encouraged to engage in service opportunities at the local, national and international levels through one-time and weekly service projects, alternative break trips, and international service experiences. All service programs are designed and led by student leaders as well.
