Maddie Russell of Baldwin Wallace University Selected as Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference

Maddie Russell of Lakewood is one of 34 Baldwin Wallace University spring sports student-athletes to be selected as Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference.
In order to be selected as Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be in residence at the school for at least a year and maintain varsity status.
Russell, a three-year letterwinner and three-time first-team All-OAC selection in women's lacrosse, garners her second career Academic All-OAC honor. She is a chemistry major that carries a 3.95 grade point average. Russell is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar. She was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 team and is now a candidate for Academic All-American honors. Russell owns the BW game-record in three categories, holds two season school-records and is the school career record-holder in six categories.
