Madeline Southall crowned Homecoming Queen at Baldwin Wallace University

2015 Oct 16

Madeline Southall of Saint Albans was crowned Homecoming Queen during Homecoming Weekend at Baldwin Wallace University. The weekend kicked off with a pep rally including performances by the BW Cheerleaders, BW Dance Team, Urban Dance Association and the Marching Yellow Jackets. Festivities also included a parade, tailgate picnic, dance, alumni reunions and a Yellow Jacket football 38-0 victory over the Marietta College Pioneers.

A highlight of the weekend was the crowning of the Homecoming Court, with two senior students chosen as King and Queen and two freshman students as Jacket Prince and Jacket Princess. Southall, a graduate of Nitro High School majoring in marketing, was crowned at halftime. Unfortunately, Homecoming King Biagio Niro of Seven Hills, Ohio was unable to attend due to an academic research trip. His girlfriend, Kristina DeGirolamo, represented him and accepted the crown on his behalf.
