Marcella Michalakes helps stage "Quality Street" at Baldwin Wallace University

Marcella Michalakes of Boulder was part of a talented cast and crew from Baldwin Wallace University that staged J.M. Barrie's "Quality Street" during the fall 2016 semester. Michalakes, a graduate of Boulder High School majoring in theatre acting and directing, played the part of Ball Guest in the production.

Three years before introducing the boy who wouldn't grow up, J.M. Barrie penned "Quality Street," celebrating the process of growing up. Directed by Adam Heffernan, the play kicked off BW's main stage season with an amusing case of mistaken identity and two sisters in pursuit of love, happiness and self-worth in an English town during the Napoleonic wars.

"Quality Street" is one of an extensive number of performance experiences providing real-world opportunities for students at Baldwin Wallace University. Productions include plays, musicals, operas, music concerts and dance concerts. Details at www.bw.edu/events.
