Matt Harris of Baldwin Wallace University Named to the Spring Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team

Matt Harris (Akron/Revere High School) is one of four Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis student-athletes to be named to the 2017 Spring Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

In order to be selected as Academic All-OAC a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and maintain varsity status.

Harris, who garners his first Academic All-OAC accolade, is a marketing & film studies double major that carries a 3.82 GPA. He is also a ITA Scholar-Athlete, a Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Alpha Lambda and Dayton C. Miller honor society. This season, Harris was an All-OAC honorable mention and finished the year with a singles record of 17-4 and a doubles mark of 18-8.

The Yellow Jackets finished the year with a 17-4 overall record, a conference mark of 6-2 and advanced to the OAC Tournament semifinals for the second straight season.
