Nikolette Scruggs of Baldwin Wallace University Garners All-Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball Accolade

Nikolette Scruggs (Barberton/Barberton) is one of four Baldwin Wallace University volleyball student-athletes to be selected to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Scruggs earned her second straight honorable mention accolade after transferring to BW a season ago. She had her best season in the Brown and Gold as she recorded career-highs in kills (289), digs (85), blocks (67), service aces (35) and assists (9.). Scruggs finished her career with 504 kills, 168 digs, 133 blocks, 62 service aces and 14 assists. Off the court, she is a Dean's List student and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society.

BW finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 24-6 and a fifth place finish in the OAC with a mark of 5-4. The Yellow Jackets advanced to their first OAC Tournament semifinal appearance since the 2011 campaign.
