Paige Lindauer honored with Baldwin Wallace University Women's Club scholarship

2017 Mar 29

Paige Lindauer of Buffalo was among six exceptional students who received scholarships from the Baldwin Wallace University Women's Club. The scholarships were granted to qualifying BW women chosen by the Women's Club Scholarship Committee on the basis of their academic record, future plans, goals and needs. The scholarships were awarded at a luncheon on Feb. 26, 2017.

Lindauer, a graduate of Williamsville High School South majoring in communication sciences and disorders, has held leadership positions within Cru and the Honors Program, and she spent last spring studying abroad in Sweden. Since returning from her time abroad, she has served as a study abroad peer advisor. After graduation, Lindauer hopes to pursue a career in pediatric speech-language pathology and is interested in working with marginalized populations such as refugees and the deaf community.

The Women's Club, founded in 1921, promotes the interest of Baldwin Wallace University through social, cultural and philanthropic activities. Membership is open to all women who have received a degree from BW or have been enrolled at BW for at least one year. The Women's Club funds its scholarships through donations and fundraisers. Scholarship applicants must be planning to be enrolled during the entire academic year, have completed two consecutive semesters at BW as a full time student or 3 consecutive semesters as a non-traditional student, have at least a 3.0 GPA and submit three recommendations.
