Ramona Smith inducted into National Communication Association's Honor Society at Baldwin Wallace University

Ramona Smith of Richmond Heights was inducted into Baldwin Wallace University's Epsilon Nu Chapter of the National Communication Association's acclaimed Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) Honor Society in the spring 2016 semester. Smith, a graduate of Collinwood High School majoring in public relations, shared the honor with 31 other top performing juniors and seniors. Society membership is extended to students who have at least a 3.25 GPA in their communication major(s), a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, a rank in the top 35 percent of their class in general scholarship, and good academic and behavioral standing.

Founded in 1985, LPH has over 550 active chapters worldwide. The society seeks to recognize, foster and reward outstanding scholastic achievement in communication studies and stimulate interest in the field. LPH also promotes and encourages professional development by providing opportunities to discuss and exchange ideas; establish and maintain closer relationships between faculty and students; and explore options for graduate education in communication studies.
