Rebecca Penrose of Shawnee High School to Continue Women's Track and Field Career at Baldwin Wallace University

Rebecca Penrose (Springfield/Shawnee High School) is one of 20 first-year student-athletes to continue women's track and field careers at Baldwin Wallace University this winter.

Head coach Matthew Cole, who is in his third season, returns 18 letterwinners from last year's team that placed fifth in both the 2017 Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships.

BW opens the 2018 season when the Yellow Jackets host the OAC North Split on Friday, Jan. 19, at 4 p.m. inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse.
