2017 Aug 17

Sarah Bellish of Worthington was among 37 Baldwin Wallace University students who spent the spring 2017 semester learning off-campus through the BW Study Abroad Center's Independent Study program. Bellish, a graduate of Thomas Worthington High School majoring in business administration, traveled to Queensland, Australia for an individualized immersion experience at the University of the Sunshine Coast. At USC, one of Australia's fastest growing universities, students receive a high quality educational experience, while enjoying the relaxed lifestyle that the Sunshine Coast offers. Students benefit from a friendly and supportive campus environment, access to highly qualified teaching staff, personal attention, and modern technology and facilities.

The BW Study Abroad Center engages students through global exploration and off-campus study that enhances personal growth, educational enrichment and career development as part of the university's liberal arts effort to cultivate contributing and compassionate citizens. Through faculty-led and independent study abroad opportunities, students can build strong communication skills, enhanced critical thinking and personal confidence from trekking the unknown.
