Ta'Lasia Colvin graduates from Baldwin Wallace University

2018 Jan 30

Ta'Lasia Colvin of Parma, a graduate of Catholic Central High School, has graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science: Psychology.

Baldwin Wallace University celebrated the achievements of 355 undergraduate and graduate students at the 2017 BW Fall Commencement exercises in December. Before taking a triumphant walk across the stage to receive congratulations, members of the BW Class of 2017 were inspired by the words of commencement speaker Rick Chiricosta, who serves as the chairman, president and chief executive officer of Medical Mutual of Ohio - the oldest and largest health insurance company based in Ohio.

Chiricosta recalled his own emotions of excitement, curiosity, anticipation and even apprehension when he donned a cap and gown to become the first in his family to graduate from college. His encouraging words to the BW graduates stressed the importance of seeking contentment and creating their own "extraordinary life" journey.
