Vanessa Adu-Gyamfi Inducted into Elite BW Honors Program

2014 Jun 3

Vanessa Adu-Gyamfi, a rising sophomore undeclared major and Wesley Girls' High School graduate from Accra, Ghana, was one among 18 students initiated into Baldwin Wallace University's elite Honors Program at a pinning ceremony in May. Honors advisor Dr. Amy Story and BW President Robert Helmer congratulated the students for their involvement in the program which strives for a distinctive and inspiring learning environment both inside and outside the classroom.

The goal of the program is to engage the whole student, to connect theoretical ideas to real-world applications, foster independent thinking, and bring students together into a community of scholars. The program achieves these aims through the pillars of student-directed research, service to the community, and leadership development.
