William Anastasiadis inducted into Social Sciences Honor Society at Baldwin Wallace University

William Anastasiadis of Warren was inducted into Baldwin Wallace University's Epsilon of Ohio Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu (PGM) International Honor Society in Social Sciences in the spring 2016 semester. Anastasiadis, a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School majoring in neuroscience psychology and psychology, shared the honor with 21 other students. Society membership is extended to students majoring or minoring in history, political science, sociology, anthropology, economics, international relations, criminal justice, social work, psychology, social philosophy, history of education or human geography. To qualify for induction, students must have an overall GPA of at least 3.3; a GPA of at least 3.3 in at least five courses in the social sciences; and at least junior status in the upper 35 percent of the class.

As the oldest and preeminent honor society in the social sciences, PGM encourages and recognizes superior scholarship in social-science disciplines and fosters cooperation and social service among its members. PGM serves the various social-science disciplines which seek to understand and explain human behavior and social relationships as well as their related problems and issues. There are 150 active chapters in the U.S. and overseas.
