Bosompim, a graduate of Bronx Health Sciences High School majoring in public health, received the Outstanding Senior Award. The award is designed to identify an exemplary graduating senior's performance in and outside of the classroom. The recipient must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and exhibit leadership and service involvement through co-curricular activities.

In presenting the award, BW recognized Bosompim as an incredible young woman who is passionate about her chosen path.

Baldwin Wallace celebrates outstanding multicultural students each spring at the Obie Bender Awards ceremony. The annual awards are named for Dr. Obie Bender '62, who was an officer of the University for 36 years. Throughout his tenure Bender provided exceptional leadership as a BW administrative liaison and was responsible for intercollegiate athletics, campus security, and the health and physical education and recreation facilities.
