The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team has been recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches with a Team Academic Excellence award while five student-athletes have been named to the Honors Court. The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2022-23 academic year with a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2022-23 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

For the 12th time in the last 13 seasons, the Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team has been honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an All-Academic Team while an Ohio Athletic Conference best 11 student-athletes were named as Scholar Athletes. To earn the team recognition, a team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale with all varsity letter winners factored into the team GPA. To qualify for the individual honor, a player must carry at least a 3.50 GPA for the academic year and have been listed on the institutional eligibility form.
