Three students achieved membership in the Baldwin Wallace University chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, in the spring 2026 semester.

Five students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Upsilon of Ohio Chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society, in the spring 2026 semester.

Eleven students achieved membership in BW's Epsilon of Ohio Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences in the spring 2026 semester.

Seven students achieved membership in the National Residence Hall Honorary in the spring 2026 semester.

Five students achieved membership in Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, in the spring 2026 semester.

Seven students achieved membership in Kappa Mu Epsilon, National Mathematics Honor Society, in the spring 2026 semester. Society membership is extended to students who have completed three semesters of college, taken three courses in mathematics, including at least one in calculus, have a minimum 3.0 GPA in mathematics, and rank in the upper 35% of their class.

Six students achieved membership in BW's Alpha Mu Zeta chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society, during the spring 2026 semester.

Two students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Kappa Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), International Honor Society in Education, in the spring 2026 semester.

BW caps off the spring semester each year with the Ovation Festival, an annual event since 2007 that celebrates student achievement in research, scholarship and the arts.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2026 semester at Baldwin Wallace University, according to Interim Provost Cathy Dollard. The Dean's List recognizes students who earn a grade point average of 3.8 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more graded hours during the semester.

Students at Baldwin Wallace University elected their 114th student body president and vice president. The winning team of president Faith Gillette of Painesville, Ohio, and vice president Noah Engel of Miamisburg, Ohio, officially took office during an inauguration ceremony held on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

BW celebrates outstanding multicultural students each spring with the Dr. Obie Bender Multicultural Awards. The awards honor and affirm the contributions of underrepresented members of the BW community as well as those who contribute to the overall spirit of inclusion. The awards are named for Dr. Obie Bender '62, who was an officer of the University for 36 years. Throughout his tenure, Bender provided exceptional leadership as a BW administrative liaison and was responsible for intercollegiate athletics, campus security and the health and physical education and recreation facilities.

Four Baldwin Wallace University baseball student-athletes have been named to the 2026 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings and D3baseball.com All-Region VII Teams.

Five Baldwin Wallace University softball student-athletes have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

The Baldwin Wallace University Honors Program officially inducted 56 students during the spring 2026 semester. The program strives to create a learning environment, both inside and outside the classroom, that engages the whole student, connects theoretical ideas to real-world applications, fosters independent thinking, and brings students together into a community of scholars.

The Baldwin Wallace University Center for Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is pleased to announce a new class of BW Student Ambassadors, a student organization that fosters relationships between BW alumni and the University.

Four Baldwin Wallace University outdoor track and field student-athletes have qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse inside the Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex.

Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Great Lakes Region Team.

The White Rose Ceremony is held annually in memory of Philura Gould Baldwin, BW's first librarian and granddaughter of BW founder John Baldwin. An oration is given, and select female graduates carry white roses in memory of Philura, whose life was cut short by consumption at age 26. While no criteria must be met, each woman must have distinguished herself by making a difference in the BW community.

Baldwin Wallace University senior first baseman/designated player Avery Curran (Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA/Resurrection Catholic) added another award to her stellar season as she was named to the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFAC) All-Region VII Team.

Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's volleyball setter Katarina Blazetic (DeLand, Fla.) and senior All-OAC baseball center fielder Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider (Grove City) have been selected as 2025-26 Baldwin Wallace University Clyde Lamb Award recipients.
