Students earn named scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University

Named scholarships were earned by 733 students at Baldwin Wallace University this fall. BW has a long history of scholarship support from alumni, faculty, trustees and friends. Over 475 named scholarships provide more than $5 million to help students attend, persist and graduate from BW. In addition, they carry on the donors' legacies through the lives of the students who receive their support. The scholarships vary in requirements, with many specifying financial need, a course of study, involvement on campus or a commitment to excellence in a particular field.

Thirty students participated in BW's faculty-led study abroad program in the renowned historical site of athletic grit and glory - Greece - during the summer semester. Led by BW associate professor Dr. Andi Lyons and coaches Jamie Gibbs and Kate Latkovic, student-athletes from the men's wrestling and women's volleyball teams traveled to Greece to train, compete and explore the birthplace of the Olympics while diving into global sports management.
