Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets Rugby graduate student-athlete, Molly Cancian is one of 12 athletes named to the Rising Stars National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) All-Star All-Tournament Team in Atlanta, Georgia. The Division III players are amongst the best in the country. Cancian represented the Ohio Valley Women's Collegiate Rugby Conference All-Star Team January 25th-26th at Silverbacks Stadium. This is Cancian's third time being selected to the All-Tournament Team. Cancian led the Cardinals in try scoring, earning 25 points (5 tries) for her team over the weekend. Cancian, also a three-time NCR All-American was selected along with the 11 other athletes to the All-Tournament Team by NCR's High Performance Program Coaches.

Five Baldwin Wallace Women's Rugby student-athletes were chosen to represent the Ohio Valley Women's Collegiate Rugby Conference (OVWCRC) Select Side Cardinals All-Star Team. Payton Aston, Molly Cancian, Maggie Moc, Allison Morgan, and Ava Wadley, along with BW Head Coach, Green were selected to the All-Star Team, made up of players and coaches from Ohio and Indiana, representing universities that compete in the OVWCRC. They traveled to Atlanta, Georgia January 25th-26th to compete in the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Women's 7's National Cup All-Star Tournament. The annual tournament took place at Silverbacks Park and hosted the best college rugby players in the United States while providing the five BW all-star players the opportunity to continue to hone their skills before the start of Baldwin Wallace's spring 7's rugby season.

Three Baldwin Wallace Men's Rugby student-athletes were chosen to represent the Great Lakes Select Side Thunderbirds All-Star Team. Marc Davis, Jace Lander, and Maximillian St. George were selected to the All-Star Team, made up of players and coaches from the Great Lakes Region, representing universities across Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. They traveled to Atlanta, Georgia January 17th-19th to compete in the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Men's National Cup All-Star Tournament. The annual tournament took place at Silverbacks Park and hosted the best college rugby players in the United States while providing the three BW all-star players the opportunity to continue to hone their skills before the start of Baldwin Wallace's spring 7's rugby season.

Three women's basketball players have been named to the 2024-25 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team. Senior guard/forward Caely Ressler (Napoleon) was named to the All-OAC first team, senior guard Emily Irwin (Pickerington/Pataskala Watkins Memorial) earned an All-OAC second-team selection, and senior forward Bella Vaillant (Perrysburg) receives All-OAC honorable mention marking each of their third straight all-conference recognitions.

Baldwin Wallace Women's Rugby student-athlete, Molly Cancian of Brunswick has been named a 2024 National Collegiate Rugby All-American making this her third All-American honor of her career. Cancian, a first year Leadership in Higher Education Graduate Student holding internships in BW's LGBTQ+ Services and LaunchNET Entrepreneurship offices is a leader for the Yellow Jackets on and off the pitch. Best known for her speed and agility, Cancian has strong defensive skills in tackling and rucking. The Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jacets team finished as the Ohio Valley Women's Collegiate Rugby Conference Champions for the fourth year in a row. National Collegiate Rugby made selections from a pool of over 7,000 players and 285 clubs across the nation, to identify the top college rugby players representing the 2024 All-Americans with 69 players from 40 schools making up three divisional teams recieving All-American honors. The three lists include 23-women teams from each Division. Cancian is among 23 National Collegiate Rugby Division III student-athletes selected to the All-American class of 2024 based on her rugby performance.
