Co-hosted by the Student Life Center and the Brain Center for Community Engagement, the Student Life and Leadership Awards recognize and celebrate the co-curricular accomplishments and contributions of BW student leaders, faculty, staff, student organization advisors, student organizations and programs that have made a positive impact on the BW and surrounding communities.

Seven students achieved membership in the BW Delta Upsilon Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society in the spring 2024 semester.

Nine students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Upsilon of Ohio Chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society, in the spring 2024 semester.

Five students achieved membership in BW's Epsilon of Ohio Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences in the spring 2024 semester.

Seven students achieved membership in the National Residence Hall Honorary in the spring 2024 semester.

Thirteen students achieved membership in Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, in the spring 2024 semester.

Twenty students achieved membership in BW's Alpha Mu Zeta chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society.

Five students achieved membership in the Baldwin Wallace University chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, in the spring 2024 semester.

A distinguished group of students at Baldwin Wallace University has reached BW's pinnacle of academic achievement with induction into the Dayton C. Miller Honor Society. Less than 4% of the undergraduate student body achieves membership in the society.

The Baldwin Wallace University Department of Athletics has announced its Clyde Lamb Award winners for the 2023-24 academic year. The Clyde A. Lamb Awards are presented annually to 10 male and 10 female student-athletes from each of the Ohio Athletic Conference institutions. Criteria for the award includes at least two years participation in an OAC-sponsored sport, senior status, a minimum GPA of 3.00 and sportsmanlike conduct in a manner that has brought credit to the student-athlete and his or her institution.

Baldwin Wallace University senior football student-athletes Joey Marousek (North Royalton) and George Newcomb (West Seneca, N.Y.) have been selected to the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society.

Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse freshman midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind. / Guerin Catholic) and junior defender Carly Kern (Gibsonia, Pa. / Mars Area) have been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and Co-Defensive Player of the Year to lead six BW players on the All-OAC squad.

Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) has been selected as the OAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.

Fourteen students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Kappa Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), International Honor Society in Education, in the spring 2024 semester.

BW celebrates outstanding multicultural students each spring with the Dr. Obie Bender Multicultural Awards. The awards honor and affirm the contributions of underrepresented members of the BW community as well as those who contribute to the overall spirit of inclusion. The awards are named for Dr. Obie Bender '62, who was an officer of the University for 36 years. Throughout his tenure, Bender provided exceptional leadership as a BW administrative liaison and was responsible for intercollegiate athletics, campus security and the health and physical education and recreation facilities.

Over 40 students achieved membership in the Baldwin Wallace University Business Honor Society in the spring 2024 semester. The society encourages and supports a deep network of personal and professional contact through ongoing communication and special invitations to campus events.

Students at Baldwin Wallace University elected their 112th student body president and vice president. The winning pair of president Brenna Holliday of Medina, Ohio, and vice president Stephanie Neff of Seven Hills, Ohio, officially took office during an inauguration ceremony held on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

The Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball team had four student-athletes named to the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League All-Conference teams. Senior Academic All-MCVL outside hitter Michael Beard (Hilliard/Darby) and senior Academic All-MCVL setter Brandon Long (Hinckley/Metea Valley, Ill.) were named to the first team while junior middle hitter Reed Fisher (Freedom, Pa./Ambridge Area) was named to the second team and freshman outside hitter Owen Huynh (Loveland) earned honorable mention.

Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Outdoor Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the sixth time in her phenomenal career.

Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American 149-pounder Michael Petrella (Reynoldsburg/Bishop Hartley) has been named The Open Mat.com NCAA Division III Men's Wrestler of the Year.

Two Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball student-athletes have been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.

The Baldwin Wallace University Honors Program officially inducted 89 students during the spring 2024 semester. The program strives for a learning environment inside and outside the classroom that engages the whole student, seeks to connect theoretical ideas to real-world applications, fosters independent thinking and brings students together into a community of scholars.

Baldwin Wallace University and Playhouse Square co-produced "Ordinary Days," a musical that follows the contemporary and intimate experiences of four young New Yorkers as they navigate the complexities of love, loss and self-discovery.
