Three BW students had the unique opportunity to participate in a faculty-led study abroad program in Guatemala. Dr. Laura Hopkins took the students to Panajachel to collect data on childhood nutrition.

Nineteen BW students had the unique opportunity to participate in a faculty-led study abroad program in London, guided by professors Tesia Benson and Jeff Herrmann of the Theatre and Dance Department. Eleven BW students participated in a faculty-led study abroad program in Guatemala. Drs. Javier Morales Ortiz of political Science and Kelly Coble of philosophy took students to Guatemala to learn about cultural and ethical perspectives while exploring pathways to positive social changes.

Twenty-five BW students participated in the faculty-led study abroad program in Germany, exploring the theory and the praxis of intercultural communication by immersing themselves in the language and culture of Germany. Students spent time in Berlin and Munich, where they visited German sites of world, historical and cultural significance while learning how to stay healthy and practice wellness abroad.

Thomas Sutton of political science, Nicholas Mays of history and Christian Nsiah of business took students to Ghana to learn about the history and effects of forced migration and the impact of colonialism on the society.

Baldwin Wallace University students study abroad in Iceland

Twenty-three BW students participated in the faculty-led study abroad program in Iceland, exploring the country through an examination of its people and natural history. Special attention was given to Iceland's unique geological setting and commitment to sustainability. Students gained first-hand knowledge of these topics through day trips to various sites of geologic, environmental and cultural significance, including Gullfoss Waterfall.

Twenty-one BW students participated in the faculty-led study abroad program in Germany, exploring the theory and the praxis of intercultural communication by immersing themselves in the language and culture of Germany. Students spent time in Berlin and Munich, where they visited Germany's sites of world, historical and cultural significance, including the Brandenburg Gate and Neuschwanstein Castle. While in Berlin, students also studied German at the German Language School.
