These talented interns are trained to assist BW entrepreneurs by participating in virtual and confidential venture coaching meetings. Additionally, they lead LaunchNET's marketing efforts and coordinate entrepreneurial programming to infuse the CIG's mission across campus.

The Baldwin Wallace University Center for Innovation & Growth (CIG) announces 2020-21 CIG Growth Practice interns. The interns spent the summer working remotely and will continue their work on campus through the academic year as part of a project team completing professional consulting engagements for CIG partners and clients, which include First Energy, OEC, Parker Hannifin Corporation and Swagelok.

From public health to sport management to sustainability and more, six students pursued research of their own design under a faculty mentor's supervision as part of BW's Summer Scholars program. Typically, scholars live together for 10 weeks on campus while engaging in collaborative activities. Due to COVID-19, this year's scholars had to adapt to remote collaboration or in-person safety protocols instead.

While Baldwin Wallace University's 170th Commencement ceremony has been postponed due to the pandemic, the University recognized the achievements of graduate and undergraduate students via a virtual "conferring of degrees" ceremony that was live-streamed from Gamble Auditorium on Saturday, May 9.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2020 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to BW Provost Stephen D. Stahl. Any full-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for 12 or more graded hours or part-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for six or more graded hours in the fall or spring semester will be placed on the Dean's List.

Students at Baldwin Wallace University elected their 108th student body president and vice president during the spring semester. The winning pair of president Arundhati Gupta of New Delhi, India, and vice president Clare Helmer of Berea, Ohio, officially took office during the spring 2020 semester.

Two students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Upsilon of Ohio Chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society, in the spring 2020 semester.

Thirteen students achieved membership in BW's Epsilon of Ohio Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences in the spring 2020 semester.

Eighteen students achieved membership in Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, in the spring 2020 semester.

Twelve students achieved membership in the BW Delta Upsilon Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society in the spring 2020 semester.

Seven students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Delta Phi chapter of the Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society in the spring 2020 semester. Delta Alpha Pi is an academic honor society founded to recognize high-achieving students with disabilities who are attending colleges and universities as undergraduate or graduate students. This dynamic organization celebrates and supports academic achievement, leadership and advocacy for post-secondary students with disabilities.

Over 30 students achieved membership in the Baldwin Wallace University Business Honor Society in the spring 2020 semester. The society encourages and supports a deep network of personal and professional contact through ongoing communication and special invitations to campus events.

Seventeen Baldwin Wallace University students were inducted into the BW Beta Upsilon Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) Honor Society in the spring 2020 semester. ASL is a premier national honor society recognizing academically outstanding adult students in higher education. Members are selected from the highest 20% of eligible adult students who have a minimum 3.2 GPA, 24 graded hours at BW and are enrolled in their first undergraduate degree program.
