Society membership is extended to students with three semesters of college completed, three courses in mathematics including at least one in calculus, a minimum 3.0 GPA in mathematics and a ranking in the upper 35% of their class.

Sixteen Baldwin Wallace University students were inducted into the BW Beta Upsilon Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) Honor Society in the spring 2021 semester. ASL is a premier national honor society recognizing academically outstanding adult students in higher education. Members are selected from the highest 20% of eligible adult students who have a minimum 3.2 GPA, 24 graded hours at BW and are enrolled in their first undergraduate degree program.
