The Women for BW Legacy Award is granted to a qualified Baldwin Wallace woman chosen by the Legacy Endowment Award Committee on the basis of academic record, professionalism, future plans, goals and needs. The Legacy Award honors the history of the Baldwin Wallace Women's Club, established in 1921. For nearly a century, alumnae and friends from throughout the BW community gathered, in the spirit of philanthropy, to generate funds to help female students in need.

Under the direction of associate professor of acting Brennan Murphy, BW students staged William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," a story of a topsy-turvy world with love and desire, disguise and deception, heartache and sexual ambiguities.

Baldwin Wallace University and Beck Center for the Arts co-produced "Lizzie: The Musical" under the direction of Victoria Bussert with choreography by Greg Daniels and music direction by Matthew Webb. The international sensation took the world by storm in over 60 cities in six countries in five languages across four continents before the pandemic took its 40 whacks.

Under the direction of assistant professor of directing Rene D. Copeland, BW students staged Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," a melding of the 1692 Salem witch trials and the McCarthyism of the late '40s and early '50.

For the third time this season and the fourth time in her track and field career, sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) has been named OAC track athlete of the week.

Each spring, Baldwin Wallace University recognizes student achievement with a variety of scholarships and awards for academics, athletics, service and leadership.

BW celebrates outstanding multicultural students each spring with the Obie Bender Multicultural Awards. The awards honor and affirm the contributions of underrepresented members of the BW community as well as those who contribute to the overall spirit of inclusion. The awards are named for Dr. Obie Bender '62, who was an officer of the University for 36 years. Throughout his tenure, Bender provided exceptional leadership as a BW administrative liaison and was responsible for intercollegiate athletics, campus security and the health and physical education and recreation facilities.

Co-hosted by the Student Life Center and the Brain Center for Community Engagement, the Student Life and Leadership Awards recognize and celebrate the co-curricular accomplishments and contributions of BW student leaders, faculty, staff, student organization advisors, student organizations and programs that have made a positive impact on the BW and surrounding communities.

The Baldwin Wallace University Department of Athletics has announced its Clyde Lamb Award winners for the 2021-22 academic year

This spring, the BW theatre and dance community presented "fyoo zh en '22: Revelry or Riot?" The annual "fyoo zh en" dance concert combines choreography with faculty research. This year's concert was inspired by Dr. Dale Sheptak's research on crowd dynamics. Choreographers used movement to illustrate the fine line between supporting your team and breaking the law.

For the second consecutive week and for the ninth time in her career, Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference right handed softball pitcher Nikki Camarati (Brunswick/Holy Name) has been named the OAC Pitcher of the Week.

Junior right-handed pitcher Aidan Bennett (Naples, Fla./Barron Collier) of the No. 9 nationally-ranked Baldwin Wallace University baseball team was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the first time in his career.

For the first time in his career, junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC defender Neil Randall (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Palos Verdes) earned OAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball sophomore outside hitter Michael Beard (Hillard/Darby) has been named to the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Men's Volleyball team as he was a second-team selection for the second consecutive season.

For the first time this season and the eighth time in her illustrious career, Baldwin Wallace University junior right handed softball pitcher Nikki Camarati (Brunswick/Holy Name) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

30 Baldwin Wallace University winter sports student-athletes have been named to the 2021-22 Winter Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Eighty-five students raised nearly $14,000 in the 21st Annual Dance Marathon at Baldwin Wallace University. Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropy organization on campus. Lasting 12 hours, the marathon consists of performers, dance and HIV/AIDS education. All proceeds are donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which seeks to educate and reduce the transmission and cases of pediatric AIDS worldwide.

The Baldwin Wallace University women's track and field senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC distance runner Alyssa Laughner (Howard, Pa./Central Mountain) and junior All-OAC thower Abby Rodriguez (Grandview, Wash. / Prosser) has been named OAC track/field athlete of the week.

For the second time in his career, sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference attaker Jake Nanosky (Medina) earned OAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC forward Lilly Edwards (Dublin/Coffman) of the No. 13 nationally-ranked women's basketball team has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-American team as an honorable mention selection.

Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC forward Lilly Edwards (Dublin/Coffman) of the No. 10 nationally-ranked has been named to the D3Hoops.com All-American team as a fourth-team selection.

The BW Conservatory of Music's music theatre program and the department of theatre and dance co-produced the Tony Award-winning Stephen Sondheim masterpiece "Into the Woods."

For the first time this season and the first time in her track and field career, sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference Cassie Kolonchuk (Canal Winchester) has been named OAC Track Athlete of the Week.
