Baldwin Wallace University Women's Soccer Head Coach Jim Wojtkun is pleased to announce that eight student-athletes have selected BW to continue their women's soccer careers.

Three Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball student-athletes have been selected to National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court while the team has been recognized as a Team Academic Excellence Award winner.

Six Baldwin Wallace Univeristy men's tennis student-athletes have been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Assocication as Scholar Athletes while the team as a whole was honored for the 11th time in the last 12 seasons as an All-Academic Team.

Baldwin Wallace University women's track and field All-Americans Alyssa Laughner (Howard, Pa./Central Mountain) and Hope Murphy have been selected as U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Athletes while the team as a whole has been recognized as an All-Academic team.

Five Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball student-athletes have been named to the 2022 Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) Academic All-Conference team.

Six students pursued research of their own design under a faculty mentor's supervision as part of BW's Summer Scholars program.

Twenty-four students took their learning off campus during the 2021-2022 academic year. With help from the BW Study Abroad Center's Independent Study program, students created individualized immersion experiences in Austria, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland.

Twenty-three BW students participated in the faculty-led study abroad program in Iceland, exploring the country through an examination of its people and natural history. Special attention was given to Iceland's unique geological setting and commitment to sustainability. Students gained first-hand knowledge of these topics through day trips to various sites of geologic, environmental and cultural significance, including Gullfoss Waterfall.

Twenty-one BW students participated in the faculty-led study abroad program in Germany, exploring the theory and the praxis of intercultural communication by immersing themselves in the language and culture of Germany. Students spent time in Berlin and Munich, where they visited Germany's sites of world, historical and cultural significance, including the Brandenburg Gate and Neuschwanstein Castle. While in Berlin, students also studied German at the German Language School.

Five students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Upsilon of Ohio Chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society, in the spring 2022 semester.

Sixteen students achieved membership in BW's Epsilon of Ohio Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences in the spring 2022 semester.
