Junior All-Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League outside hitter Michael Beard (Hilliard/Darby) of the Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball team was named the American Volleyball Coaches Association National Player of the Week.

Molly Cancian, a junior English major from Brunswick, Ohio (Brunswick, Valkyries) was named a 2022 National Collegiate Rugby Women's All-American. Cancian, a fullback/outside center for the Yellow Jackets was selected as an All-American in the Small College Division based on performance in the fall15's season. National Collegiate Rugby announced its 2022 Women's All-American class, with 69 players representing 34 colleges from 17 states on February 6, 2023. NCR expanded to three women's divisions last fall, naming 23 All-Americans per group. Cancian is among 23 Small College Division student-athletes selected to the All-American class of 2022.

Four Baldwin Wallace Women's Rugby Student-Athletes were selected to the Ohio Valley Women's Collegiate Rugby Conference All-Conference Team. Junior, Molly Cancian, sophomore, Angelina Esposito, junior, Abigail Kessler, and senior, Brittney Webb were chosen to the OVWCRC All-Conference Team comprised of 21 players from Ohio and Indiana teams. The four standout BW players were selected to the OVWCRC All-Conference Team based on their performance in the fall 2022 15's season. Conference coaches nominate and vote on the All-Conference selections. Baldwin Wallace Head Coach, Vanessa Marsh was honored with the OVWCRC Coach of the Year recognition by the Ohio Valley Conference. Marsh, in her first year coaching the Yellow Jackets, led BW to a first-place finish in the Ohio Valley Conference, 4th in the Midwest Region, and 14th in the nation in the National Collegiate Rugby Small College Division.

Four Baldwin Wallace Women's Rugby student-athletes were chosen to represent the Ohio Valley Women's Collegiate Rugby Conference (OVWCRC) Select Side Cardinals All-Star Team. The All-Star Team, made up of players from Ohio and Indiana, from universities that compete in the OVWCRC will be traveling to Austin, Texas January 20-22nd to compete in the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Women's 7's National Cup All-Star Tournament. The annual tournament is taking place at Round Rock Sports Complex and will host the best college rugby players in the United States while providing the four all-star players the opportunity to continue to hone their skills before the start of Baldwin Wallace's spring 7's rugby season.

The Dean's List recognizes students who earn a grade point average of 3.8 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more graded hours during the semester.
