National Collegiate Rugby announced the 2022-23 Scholastic All-American selections. Seven Baldwin Wallace University Women's Rugby student athletes made the list. The annual program recognizes high-performing student athletes in college rugby across the nation. To qualify as an NCR Scholastic All-American, student athletes must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic year and be rostered 50% of the Fall 15's varsity matches or rostered 50% of the varsity Spring 7's tournaments. 760 total NCR student athletes earned Scholastic All-American honors with 148 colleges represented, 1 in 20 student athletes competing in college rugby were recognized and 123 maintained a 4.0 GPA for the full academic year.

The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team has been recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches with a Team Academic Excellence award while five student-athletes have been named to the Honors Court. The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2022-23 academic year with a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2022-23 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

For the 12th time in the last 13 seasons, the Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team has been honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an All-Academic Team while an Ohio Athletic Conference best 11 student-athletes were named as Scholar Athletes. To earn the team recognition, a team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale with all varsity letter winners factored into the team GPA. To qualify for the individual honor, a player must carry at least a 3.50 GPA for the academic year and have been listed on the institutional eligibility form.

Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country and track and field All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) has been named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America track and field/cross country team.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to BW Provost Stephen D. Stahl. The Dean's List recognizes students who earn a grade point average of 3.8 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more graded hours during the semester.
