BW students spend winter break volunteering in Providence, R.I.

Thirty-nine compassionate Baldwin Wallace University students made a difference by volunteering at four diverse destinations during 2017 winter break. The BW Alternative Break service program gives students the opportunity to spend their breaks helping others. Each experience is led by a BW student with support from a University faculty or staff adviser. Student volunteers traveled to San Antonio, New Orleans, Chicago and Providence, Rhode Island.

Baldwin Wallace Cyber Defense Team tops National Cyber League 2017 Fall Season

The Baldwin Wallace University Cyber Defense Team is number one in the country after the dust settled and the points were tallied in the National Cyber League (NCL) 2017 Fall Season competition. The team, dubbing itself "Ken's Little Pwnies" for BW faculty advisor Kenneth Atchinson, fought to the top of the NCL leaderboard outranking 174 teams nationally across all brackets.

Students inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society at Baldwin Wallace University

Twenty-five Baldwin Wallace University students were inducted into the Beta Upsilon Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) Honor Society in the fall 2017 semester. ASL is a premier national honor society recognizing academically outstanding adult students in higher education. Members are selected from the highest 20 percent of eligible adult students who have a minimum 3.2 GPA, 24 graded hours at BW and are matriculated in their first undergraduate degree program.
