Eleven students achieved membership in the National Residence Hall Honorary in the spring 2018 semester.

Eleven students achieved membership in BW's Epsilon of Ohio Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences in the spring 2018 semester.

Three students achieved membership in the BW Sigma Chapter of Phi Sigma Tau, the International Honor Society in Philosophy, in the spring 2018 semester.

Nine students achieved membership in the BW Delta Upsilon Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society in the spring 2018 semester.

BW celebrates outstanding multicultural students each spring at the Obie Bender Multicultural Awards ceremony. The awards are named for Dr. Obie Bender '62, who was an officer of the University for 36 years. Throughout his tenure, Bender provided exceptional leadership as a BW administrative liaison and was responsible for intercollegiate athletics, campus security and the health and physical education and recreation facilities.

The Baldwin Wallace University Department of Theatre and Dance once again cemented its status as a world-class program when students presented professor Les Hunter's original play "Weimar." Set in Weimar Republic-era Germany during the early 20th century, the new play follows a group of strong-willed women attempting to resist the increasingly authoritarian leanings of their government.

Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference right fielder Alex Marcum(Granville) has been selected as the OAC Hitter of the Week for the third time in his career.

This spring, the BW theatre and dance community came together to present "fyoo zh en," the annual dance concert combining choreography with faculty member research. This year's show was inspired by Dr. Swagata Banik's National Institutes of Health-funded public health study "Project SHAKTI: Stigma reduction, Healthcare provider Awareness and Knowledge enhancement on Transgender issues in India."

For the second time in his career, Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Ted Achladis (Avon Lake/Elyria Catholic) has been named OAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

Baldwin Wallace University softball freshman left-hander Abby Cosart (Lima/Bath) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the first time in her career.

Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Brooke Buckhannon has been named OAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Seventeen students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Kappa Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, in the spring 2018 semester.

Sixteen students achieved membership in Kappa Mu Epsilon, National Mathematics Honor Society, in the spring 2018 semester.

Students at Baldwin Wallace University elected their 106th student body president and vice president last month. The winning pair of President Andrew Henthorn of Cleveland and Vice President Allyson Crays of Warren, Ohio, officially took office during the inauguration ceremony held on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Baldwin Wallace University junior right-handed pitcher Danny Cody has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the first time in his career.

Over 60 students participated in the 17th Annual Dance Marathon at Baldwin Wallace University. Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropy organization on campus. Lasting 12 hours, the marathon consists of performers, dance and HIV/AIDS education. All proceeds are donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which seeks to educate and reduce the the transmission and cases of pediatric AIDS worldwide.

Cole Porter's classic musical "Anything Goes" was given new life by director James Beaudry and the enthusiastic cast and crew of this positively playful production. When nightclub singer-turned-evangelist Reno Sweeney boards the S.S. American with her colorful cohorts, it's anything but smooth sailing. Mayhem and mischief ensue as the stage comes alive with star-crossed lovers, mistaken identities and good old-fashioned Broadway fun.
