The scholarships vary in their requirements, with many specifying financial need, a course of study, involvement on campus or a commitment to excellence in a particular field.

BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year. Including merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received over $57 million in financial support from the University for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The Yellow Jacket community was abuzz with excitement during Baldwin Wallace University's Bold & Gold Festival, a combined Homecoming and Community Day celebration. The epic gathering of the BW community included a pep rally, parade, tailgate picnic, alumni reunions and Yellow Jacket football. The Jacket Prince and Princess as well as the inaugural Jacket Duke and Duchess were crowned during the pep rally, and the King and Queen were crowned at halftime.

From neuroscience to business to music and more, eight students pursued research of their own design under the supervision of a faculty mentor as part of BW's Summer Scholars Program. Scholars lived together for 10 weeks on campus and had extensive opportunities to engage in collaborative activities within an intellectual community.
