Three Baldwin Wallace University softball student-athletes have been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NCAA Division III All-Central Region team.

Junior defender Hannah Stein (Medina/Highland) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year as five Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse players landed on the All-OAC team.

Baldwin Wallace University senior American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Mideast Region pitcher Danny Cody (Medina/Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) has landed on the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Google Cloud Academic All-District 7 team for the first time in his career.

Two Baldwin Wallace University softball student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Google Cloud Academic All-District 7 team.

The White Rose Ceremony is held annually in memory of Philura Gould Baldwin, granddaughter of BW founder John Baldwin and BW's first librarian. An oration is given and select female graduates carry white roses in memory of Philura whose life was cut short by tuberculosis at age 26. While no criteria must be met, each woman must have distinguished herself by making a difference in the BW community.

Senior attack Chad Steinwachs (Buffalo, N.Y./Williamsville North) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year to headline the Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse All-OAC selections.

The Baldwin Wallace University Honors Program officially inducted 19 rising sophomore students at a pinning ceremony during the spring 2019 semester. BW celebrates outstanding multicultural students each spring at the Obie Bender Multicultural Awards ceremony. The awards are named for Dr. Obie Bender '62, who was an officer of the University for 36 years. Throughout his tenure, Bender provided exceptional leadership as a BW administrative liaison and was responsible for intercollegiate athletics, campus security and the health and physical education and recreation facilities.

A distinguished group of students at Baldwin Wallace University has reached BW's pinnacle of academic honor society achievement with induction into the Dayton C. Miller Honor Society. Less than four percent of the undergraduate student body achieves membership in the society.
